The Bible in 90 Days is more than just a "read through" or getting into God's Word, it is a time in which you can allow God's Word to get into you.
It may seem like you're not studying, but in reality, the Holy Spirit is going to be working diligently to teach you what you need to know. One thing you can do to provide personal impact for this series, is to pay attention to that still small voice (the Holy Spirit) and watch what He is teaching you. Make a mental note of that day's reading. Better yet, download and print the weekly guides found in the resource section of the Bible in 90 Days challenge.
Simply make a brief comment. One or two sentences or phrases. At the end of the week, look back and notice a larger take away.
That's what these posts will be about. What has the Holy Spirit laid on my heart and mind that I need to notice and know about that week's reading. More importantly, what impact is being made on my life? That's the question that should be on all of our minds as we read God's Word the Bible.
There's something else that I'd like to testify to as I'm in the thick of the Bible in 90 Days challenge: my priorities are beginning to change. It's been a long time coming, but having to put aside about an hour each day to be in Scripture is in itself a challenge. I've said this before, and it's still true, what's important is eternal. God's Word is eternal.
Anyway, in the days and weeks ahead, I'll be posting my take-aways. Sometimes there will be one per week, sometimes two. You know, even God said that there wasn't enough room to write about all there is to know about Himself. Join me and share some of yours.

The road that God has taken me through this challenge is not the same road that you're on. Now, don't get me wrong, there is only ONE road to God, and this road is narrow. The road to God is only through the revelation and person of Jesus Christ. It is His life, substitutionary death and subsequent resurrection that is my personal guarantee of eternal life. Nothing else. None of us can do anything to inherit eternal life - no good works, no extra morality, nothing will do. We could not be holy as God had commanded us to be. God Himself would have to do all of the work necessary to draw us to Him. The only thing we could and can do is accept His free gift of grace and salvation.
Let's be changed by His Word as it resets our minds.
