And then you slip into denial - especially if those facts or the truth is not in your favor...
Many people say that abortion is a "choice". And indeed it is. Women (and their male partners) do have a choice of terminating a pregnancy. That sounds fairly innocuous doesn't it? Terminating a pregnancy. After all, it's "just a mass of tissue."
Some call abortion a modern day "holocaust". The world sat by and witnessed a holocaust from 1939 to 1945. At that time many - including church-going non-Nazi's - turned their backs, denied what was happening and blamed Jews for the misery of the world. And don't forget Stalin's holocaust of the Russian people. Anyway you look at it, it was mass murder.
Abortion is the taking of a human life. Pure and simple. Whether you believe life begins at conception or not is completely irrelevent. Facts are facts and truth is truth. Consider this: a human egg fertilized by human sperm equals a human life. What else could it be but human? Unless you are of the believe that we are descended from apes...
The strange thing is that many or most "pro-choice" people virtually NEVER want the other side's (pro-life) side of the story shown. I wonder why? They're supposed to be "pro-choice". And that should infer some level of "open mindedness". But enough rangling over semantics.
