Your swimming pool chemical care can be done in about 5 minutes each week! That's right just 5 simple minutes and Pristine Blue makes it simple.
Here's how it breaks down: 1 minute to properly test the water. 4 minutes to make the correct additions.
So here's what I do. Using my test kit, I test for the pH, total alkalinity and Pristine Blue. My parameters should be: pH in a range of 7.2 to 7.6; total alkalinity 75 to 90 ppm; Pristine Blue between 0.5 and 1.0 ppm. Each month have your water professionally tested and adjust the calcium hardness to about 200 ppm.

A tool that makes Pristine Blue additions easier to figure is their wonderful "slide calculator." It's easy to use and saves time and even thinking. Just slide the calculator to your correct pool size in gallons and follow the numbers.
To make it easier, once you've got the pool size correct, staple it in place so that it doesn't move and you won't make a mistake (just get it right the first time).
