Almost every church that I've heard of suffers from this one issue. Let's call it a lightning rod issue.
Churches, even well established ones, have "split" or broken up because of it. And it's a real shame. This issue has bugged me over the years. As many of you know, I was born and raised Roman Catholic. When I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in my early twenties, I sought out a church where I could grow. Thankfully, God led me to good place. I haven't wanted to ever leave. But I've seen others leave, for what seem, and please excuse me, "foolish" reasons.
In my opinion, one of the most significant issues that can bring on a "church split" is the issue of church Music. There, I said it. It's now out in the open; let the grumbling begin.
But let's not grumble.
